Review: Goddess Boot Camp by Tera Lynn Childs

Goddess Boot Camp by Tera Lynn Childs
My Rating:5 of 5 stars

Synopsis:

Narrator Phoebe Castor 17, descendant of goddess Nike, cannot control her powers, and fears boyfriend Griffin returns to ex-girlfriend Adara. Stepfather Damian, principal of the Academy for divine descendants must enroll Pheobe in summer Boot Camp for ten-year-old girls. Can Adara and camp counsellor stepsister Stella train her in time to pass test?

My Thoughts:

This is the 2nd book in the Oh.My.Gods series.

Phoebe is settling into her new life as a half goddess. She is the great grand-daughter of the goddess, Nike. Her powers, that just started to show last year, are overwhelming. If she even daydreams, then something odd happens. She thought about surfing and her stepdad ended up soaked. The gods are watching her and have decided to test her control of her powers. Her stepdad enrolls her in goddess boot camp to help her control them.

I absolutely love this series. This one might actually be funnier, though. I love the things that happen while her powers are out of control. The entire series is worth a read. Mythology just comes to life in these books.
