The Job Offer by Eleanor Webb

This is a pleasant little romance novel. Anne is reunited with a guy she had a crush on as a child. Inadvertently, they end up pretending to be engaged. Unfortunately, he doesn't realize that she is the new employee he has just hired because her last name was changed. She mistakenly thinks his last name is the same as his sister. This leads to an argument with lots of hurtful things said.

Although it is a pleasant romance, it is a typical romance with nothing extra that makes it stand out from the rest. That being said, it is well written and still worth the read. This is one of those romance novels you tuck away for a rainy day.

My Rating:
3 out of 5 stars
