This book had me laughing. I love Jael and her wit. I also like Cole. He seems so quiet but he can stand up for himself. Cain was interesting as well and I love his little attempts to convince Jael to do what he wants. This book wasn't all laughs, though. Jael has a bitterly sad past that will make your heart break for her. I am looking forward to book 2.
