Review: 13 Secrets by Michelle Harrison

13 Secrets by Michelle Harrison
My Rating:5 of 5 stars

Synopsis:

Red is now living at Elvesden Manor under her real name, Rowan, and trying to put the past behind her. But staying on the straight and narrow isn’t as easy as she had hoped . . . Hounded by those who would like her to participate once more in the changeling trade, Rowan is also haunted by dreams of the Hedgewitch’s cottage and the chained-up Eldritch, who swore revenge when she left him there.

Her past is about to catch up with her, but can she, Tanya and Fabian prevent it consuming her altogether?

My Thoughts:

13 Secrets is the 3rd and final book of the 13 Treasures Trilogy. Rowan has moved in with Tanya's grandmother, Fabian and his father. Life was starting to settle down but when you can see fairies things have a way of getting out of hand quickly.

Friends (the Coven) and people that Rowan associated with before her visit to the fey world have shown up again. There is are children in danger from a changeling. This time the changeling has replaced an adult and seems fixated on a baby girl in the family. The "Coven" is determined to help this family. Tanya & Fabian are inevitably drawn into this.

The "Coven" is being attacked and Tanya & Fabian's family are in danger also. The 13 Secrets seem to be the center of this. What are the 13 secrets? Well, you will have to read the book to find out.

I was saddened to discover that this was the end of the series. I really enjoyed learning about the 13 Treasures, Curses and Secrets. The fairies are always up to some kind of mischief and I would love to read more about their adventures. Apparently, the author has decided the same thing though as I noticed that she went back and wrote a prequel to the trilogy, One Wish. I will be sure to let you know what I think of that book as I will be reading it also.
