Her Sweetest Christmas:
I really enjoyed this little romance. I really liked Cooper and Natalie. I did not like her ex or his new wife. I found them annoying and was right there with her wanting to slap them.

Christmas On Thin Ice:
This is a sweet little story about a second chance at love. I love that Noah, Lily & Sophie get a HEA. Kyle is your typical playboy athlete and I am glad Lily didn't listen to him.

Diamonds for Christmas:
It is a beautiful story of love and the fear of losing the one you love. I enjoyed reading about Ruby & Declan getting a 2nd chance at love. They were definitely made for each other.


Overall:
I love how all these stories are tied together. The residents of Juniper Falls are great. The best part was that, although short, none of these were insta-love stories (not that I don't like them, I do. I just love to read stories where the love builds up to that special moment when they realize they are in love). These are all 2nd chance at love stories and that makes them all the more sweet as true love finds a way. I would love to read a full novel based on residents of this wonderful place.

I loved this book. It was well written and the suspense built all the way thru to the conclusion. I loved Jason & Sam. They are perfect together. I loved Jefferson as well. I felt sorry for Jefferson and his kids having to deal with his wife's issues. The mystery kept me guessing. I thought I knew half way thru the book but I kept wavering here and there. In the end, I was right but I did have doubts. I am definitely becoming a fan of Ms. Stone and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Ten Things to know about me:


  1. I have a fear of whales. All whales. The noise they make. The sight of them (even on tv). I don’t think this phobia has a name and I’ve never met anyone else who feels this way. I blame it on the 3D movie when I was 7 at the Boston Museum of Science. (Thanks Dad.)


    1. When I get hungry it brings out the worst in me. My friends and family know to keep me well fed. They pack snacks now.


      1. I can cook but not bake. Not even a little. Not even a box of brownies.


        1. If there is a song I like it is normal to hear me listening to it a hundred times (give or take) in a row.


          1. I do not, under any circumstances, read directions. Who has time for that? Making mac & cheese by the seat of my pants for the last 25 years.


            1. Like a black-out drunk, I have lost hours of my life mysteriously to Pinterest. If you haven’t tried it yet… don’t. Save your self.


              1. Before I became a mother, lots of things grossed me out. Now nothing does.


                1. My favorite food is food… my least favorite food is no food. I love food. (apply the same rule to wine)


                  1. I do not have a green thumb. I have the kind of thumb that kills any type of plant ever given to me. Whatever kind of thumb that is… I have it.
                    2. 10. Writing has changed my life. Not just the career it’s created but the way I feel when I write. If you have something you love to do I hope you get the opportunity to do it.
