Love Me Like You Mean It by Jaime Russell

I really enjoyed this romance. I loved that the characters from book 1 are in this book. Max was one of my favorites from book 1 so I was glad to read a book centered around him. As much as I disliked his adopted father in book 1, it seemed like he was trying to make amends in this book. I still disliked his adoptive mother and she didn't seem to change at all. I would love to see a book centered around Sarah next.

Review: Love Me Like You Do
Love Me Like You Do by Jaime Russell
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
*I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book*
This book is about Abby who suffered abuse at the hands of her parents. She meets and falls in love with a wonderful man but doesn't know how to move forward. I love the real-life issues in this book. These are abuse, trust issues and self-loathing due to years of abuse. There were some minor grammar issues that detracted from the story slightly. I would definitely recommend this book to romance lovers.

All Romance Ebooks, LLC closing down December 31st
Have you bought books from All Romance Ebooks? If so, you will want to head over to our account and try to download all of your content. You may end up losing some or all content if you are not fast. December 31st is looming fast. Also, if you pre-ordered any books, you might want to try to get a refund ASAP.
Some authors are stating that they have received letters stating that they will only receive 10 cents on the dollar for all sales that they have made. The payouts will be made on 2/28/2016. Yeah, you are not reading that wrong. It is not a typo. The authors/publishers feel that this is a tactic to keep any agreements from being legally binding. Will they actually receive any money at all from owner, Lori James? I don't know. I guess it all depends on Lori. This is morally and ethically wrong but that is the way some people are in this world any more. Depending on their sales, some of these authors and publishers will take a huge hit. As for readers, you may lose some of the books that you spent your hard earned money on.
We will probably hear more about this in the coming days as the closure is completed and the payments are either made or not made. I am urging readers to check their accounts and download whatever they can recover. As for the authors/publishers, I sincerely hope that you can recover more of your losses. Without you, the readers wouldn't have the wonderful books that we read every day. I truly appreciate all your hard work.

Author Bio
Lena has been writing since high school—though that first story will remain in the dark corners of her closet to protect everyone. After all, she writes romance, not horror. Just kidding! It’s not really that bad, but her idea of romance and love has certainly changed through time, not to mention her writing skills.
Growing up in a traditional and strict family, Lena was protected—or maybe overprotected. Books became her escape, her only avenue to see the world beyond the walls of her shelter. It wasn’t long before she realized that romance was the way to go. No matter how difficult the characters’ circumstances were, by the time the book ended, everything was perfect. In romance, there is always a guaranteed happy ending.
Reality was unwelcomed and Lena devoured books like people eat chips. As soon as one was done, she was on the hunt for another. When reality intruded in her life—like work (ugh!)— and reading other people’s work was impossible, she started daydreaming, creating her own stories. Now, she wants to share those daydreams and passion with the rest of the world.
After getting her own happy ending, Lena lives in a small town in Massachusetts with her husband, two girls, two dogs, and three cats, and if her eldest daughter has anything to do about it, maybe a bird in the future... She really hopes not, though. Birds are really, really loud.
Her stories have been described as cute and sweet with just enough humor to give the reader an occasional giggle. Happy reading!

I am struggling to write this review. It is not that I didn't like the book. I have to be in the mood for a book like this because it is a slower read. This book is like the classics that people either love or hate. I have always been pretty neutral on those types of books. I like them in smaller doses. This book took me almost two months to read because I had to keep stepping away from it. It is a tragic love story of two people that are so in love with each other but can never be together. It almost reminds of Wuthering Heights. If you are a fan of classics like Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre and Pride & Prejudice then this is definitely for you.

This series is like a chain reaction. The happenings in book 1 affect book 2 and so on. They now face a danger that they have no idea how to fight. As with the other books, they now have a new issue to face and I can't wait to delve into the next book and see how they handle this new crisis. One of the things I really enjoyed about this book was the introduction of other supernatural beings.

This book started off a bit slow. However, once it picked up,I couldn't put it down. I became totally enthralled in the world of immortals. I loved Allie &Aiden together. I couldn't understand why she wouldn't give him a chance. Why would you walk away from a love like that just because it wasn't a normal life? Normal is overrated! I can't wait to read more of this series.

His Man: Graham Carson 2
Locked & Loaded Series Book 3
BOOK LINKS
Amazon
BLURB
His Man is the second installment of Graham Caron’s story in the Locked & Loaded Series. Please read The Manny, an Amazon #1 Bestseller in gay fiction, before reading this book.
Everything changed after we moved. All things in Mexico became things of the heart for Leland and me.
He was a different man.
I was a different man.
And we became different men by being together.
Is that really so different than what happens to any of us when we find the person who completes us? It perfects who we are, our existence, and we become our better selves.
Our life meshed into a comfortable routine so normal we were nearly blasé. Two men—a corporate mogul and his bodyguard—committed to each other, to our work, and to raising a little girl together.
Normal. Average. Boring. Wonderful.
True, we didn’t start that way.
But that’s what we became.
And Leland is definitely my right guy.
My everything.
Our life was perfect—until it wasn’t…
