Wanderlust Wanderlust by Lacey Weatherford
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Synopsis:

WANDERLUST, from USA TODAY and #1 International Bestselling Author, Lacey Weatherford, and #1 Bestselling Genre Author, Belinda Boring.

Recommended for ages 18+ for mature situations dealing with sex, rape, and physical aggression.

Overview:
She was new in town.
He was from another realm.
Together their love would transcend the impossible.
Wanderlust, The Story of Us series, book one.

Blurb:
Ryder McKinley is a Wanderer, an offspring of Angels, he's renounced his angelic status and been gifted free will to explore all of creation as he sees fit. Eons old, he's traveled all through the Universe, observing different worlds, cultures, and societies. But during his stay on Earth, he finds the one thing that has been allusive to him in all his entire existence--LOVE.

Heart and mind captured by Skylar Blue, Ryder loves the artistic way she looks at the world. The two of them hit it off immediately and soon find themselves wrapped together in throes of passion, but Ryder's secret stands in the way of them being together permanently.

Choices must be made, some with very high prices, but in the end tragedy strikes and changes the course of everything. How far will Ryder go to keep his love?

My Thoughts:

I have read books by Lacey Weatherford before and loved them. I haven't read anything by Belinda Boring so I wasn't sure what to expect from a book they co-authored. I found myself drawn completely into the story. I loved the romance and the story of how these two very different people met. The ending wasn't what I expected but it definitely made me want to read book 2 and find out how they overcome their obstacles.
