Book 1 started off slowly for me but this one did not. It picked up where the last book left off. The girls are at odds with each other. They are all suffering in their own way after that horrible night. I didn't care for Brooke or Annabeth in book 1 but I really liked them a lot more in this one. The characters just seemed more likable and real. I am hoping book 3 brings some happiness to all of them since they have been through so much together. I really enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to reading more of this series.
