I didn't realize that this was book 2 in a series so I am jumping in mid-series. I enjoyed this book. I loved the magical aspect of it. There are a lot of groups after the magic and Gemma made a good choice who to trust with it. I am not sure if I will read more of the series or not. I know I would enjoy more books in this series but I have other series that I want to read more at this time.
