In this book, I am finally learning how the corrupted came into our world and who was behind it. Alice has to face this threat. Will defeating this threat eliminate the corrupted? This series really pulls you in. The only way to really describe this book series is to say it is like Buffy the vampire slayer meets the Grimm brothers fairy tales. The ending of this book is sad and sets the tone for the next book. Looking forward to the consequences that result from what happened in this book.
