My Thoughts:
David, Anna, Meg and Bronwen have settled down in 13th century Wales. A peace treaty had been signed 3 years ago between Wales and England so they were feeling pretty safe. Then they have a secret meeting with one of the English Lords. They are attacked before they can come up with a plan. Things are not as they appear and they rush to keep their castles safe from invasion. As they rush around Wales trying to warn people and escape capture, they piece together what is really happening.I absolutely love this series. I love how the author has taken a single moment in history and changed it. This change has spun off this entire series. Wales certainly could have used some help back in the 13th century. This series gives us a glimpse at how different things could have been had England not conquered Wales. This is fast becoming one of my favorite series and I am looking forward to reading more.
