My Thoughts:
I had no expectations of this book going in so I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The idea of vampire hunters using vampires and criminals for an event rivals The Hunger Games was a really interesting idea. I loved the characters despite their obvious flaws. I really felt bad for the vampires because they were being forced to do the things they are doing. Yes, some vampires would kill on purpose but some would have a conscience. How is what the hunters are doing any better? I absolutely loved the wolf. The ending was an interesting twist and I have so many questions. What happens to Varick and the wolf? Will Selena keep her promise to Cass? What about Varick and Selena? Will they ever get the HEA that they deserve? I will be reading book 2 in the near future as I can't wait to find out the answers.View all my reviews
